A woman at Tall Pines Apartments, 150 Turner St., reported on Saturday that a girl who approached her about dating stole her phone.
The woman said she was sitting outside her apartment when an apparent teenage girl approached her about dating. The woman turned her down, but the girl asked to use her phone to take a picture.
The woman allowed the girl to use the phone, which actually belonged to the victim’s friend, but the girl ran off with it.
The owner of the green iPhone 5C valued the phone at about $200.
Thefts, burglaries
A resident of the 100 block of Laurel Ridge Avenue East reported on Saturday someone stole a black, blue and white Apollo 125 motorcycle, which was missing its front fender, from the property. The vehicle was valued at $1,100.
A burglar entered a dentist’s office at 409 Broome St. by breaking a window, the owner reported Friday morning. The only item listed stolen in the police report of the incident was a $1 bill.
A thief took a 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme with a broken transmission from a home in the 900 block of Mooty Bridge Road, the owner reported Friday.
A man told police Friday a woman he knew took his Samsung Galaxy S7 cellphone valued at $700 while they were in a residence in the 500 block of Miller Street.

A woman reported someone punctured two tires of her Kia Soul with screws and stabbed another with a pair of pliers on Wednesday. The owner also showed an officer dents in the vehicle’s hood. The estimated cost of the damage was $600.

A LaGrange man said he received a notice of nonpayment from Georgia Power for service to a home in Atlanta. The man said he did not have an account with Georgia Power or any connection to the address.
